Some Old Stuff: 98'

OK. Big digging today and I think I unearthed the beginnings of my erotic art, other than just doodling penises in my notebook. Summer 1998. Just arrived back from living in Paris (BEST TIME OF LIFE), hanging with Lemon enjoying the end of Summer before I had to go back to school. We were dirty. She always egged me on. She was the first to dye my hair and we would constantly be in trouble. We would sit around drinking sangria and sketching dirty things. Good times. I'll post a few now and save some for later. Enjoy.

OK. So I wasn't going to do this. I was going to get a goodnight sleep. Oh well. I was inspired. New sketch I've been futsing with. Kinda digging the song by Owl City. It takes me away. Thought of night flying. I colored and then did a little retouching in Photoshop. Wanted to show the process. Again, I feel like I could clean up the final a little more, but it's late. Bed.

It's been fun going through the old sketch books. You don't realize how much, good and bad, who have accumulated until you start digging. I realize I do need to finish / color a lot. I just sketch and keep going. Need to focus and complete some. Here are a few older ones. I told you I was into comics. Come on Robin and SuperBoy. The second kinds looks like McSteamy but not on purpose. Although I did notice I put an R on his arm tattoo..Rebecca? Make what you wish.

I have to work on these. Like the idea. Love the top sketch. Trying to work on the overt sex acts, still a little sloppy with the forms. Liking subtext and subtle hints more than the " here is my penis and look what I'm doing with it" drawings.

Some New Stuff: The Pack

I've been messing with groups, packs in my drawings. I like the crowed nature, the many stories happening at once. If subtle or in your face. I've also been trying to parallel human and animal situations. The Mermen in Down Deep paralleling the underwater world, or in this sketch paralleling the wolf pack. When it comes to sexuality there is always that underlying animal urge. That natural urge. I want to explore these scenes more. Will post updates and ideas.
